The Museo De Arte ROCA- the Graphic and Spatial Design

The ROCA Graphic and Spatial Design Award is held by the Museo de Arte ROCA and the Instituto de Humanidades y Artes de Barcelona in Barcelona. It’s the international professional competition forcing on the graphic and spatial design in the industry field.

Roca began its activity in 1917, manufacturing cast iron radiators for domestic heating in its factory in Gavà (Barcelona). From 1929 to now, it entered the bathroom sector and never stop their foots, keeping the world wide level and spreading all over the world.

The Magical Swing Sphere, Hui XU’s Tangible Installation Art, has obtained the Bronze Prize (Theme Project) in the ROCA Graphic and Spatial Design Award. Like the Chinese painting art, her installation art alternates between virtual and real, connects colors and dynamics, and maintains a relative distance between objects that seems to be broken, combining static state and movement to create interaction between objects, space and people.
