The Chinese National Academy of Arts

The Chinese National Academy of Arts is the only one of the national multi-art research organizations directly affiliated to the Ministry of Culture, P. R. China. On the time of the Chinese initial naissance, the academy had been a long history of 54 years since in 1951 and it had an epigraph written by the President MAO ZHE DONG.

The Chinese National Academy of Arts has already possessed the reserve of talents, the essential organizational systems and the setup of subjects up to now, and it is equal to the scale of the national arts science & research organization. Currently, the academy has 12 professional institutes such as the Art Research Institute, the Film and TV Art Research Institute, the Chinese Culture Research Institute and so on; has 14 professional studies and creative institutes such as the National Center of the Ethnologic Folk Culture Protection Project, the Creation Research Centre, the Incorporeal Culture Heritage Research Centre, the Chinese Art Creation Academy, the Chinese Calligraphy Academy, the Artworks Appraisal Committee and etc; has 3 professional organs there are the Postgraduate Academy, the Culture & Art Publisher and Library; has 12 magazine presses such as the academy’s publication of Culture Research, the Art Views, the Chinese Culture, the World Chinese Knowledge, the Artistic Criticism, the Zhong Hua Culture Patten Paper and so on. In several years, the Chinese National Academy of Arts has also have a group of famous scholars and artists who had a great deal of achievements on each scope and high reputes in the world, Their names are MEI LAN FANG, HUANG BIN HONG, HOU BAO LING and etc.
