The China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation’s important affairs in 1998

1. On 17 January, 1998, the Secondary Conference of the third council of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation held in Beijing. On the conference, the Vice President of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.) and the chairman of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation — YANG RU DAI made an important talking about the task of being engaged in the civilian enterprise in 1999.

2. HUO YING DONG the President of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.) has represented the Vice Honor Chairman of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.

3. “The First Competition of the National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition with Ever-lasting Contributions to Poverty Relief” has been displayed on the Chinese Art Museum, in which has showed over 270 sets of calligraphy and art works selected from over 3000 artworks in the whole country. Many people has taken part in the inauguration of the exhibition, there were Mr. CHEN JUN SHENG the Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.), Mr. SHEN PENG the Vice Chairman of Literary Federation & the Chairman of Chinese Calligraphy Association, Mr. YANG LI ZHOU the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Artistic Association and the Vice Manager of Chinese Art Museum, Mr. WANG YU ZHAO the Vice Chairman of the Chinese XXX and some foreigners and over 20 reporters and etc.
